LIFT RITE CONCRETE SERVICES

CONCRETE LEVELING REPAIR SERVICE

RESIDENTIAL: SUNKEN CONCRETE – TRIP HAZARDS – SWIMMING POOLS – PATIOS – SLABS ON GRADE – SIDEWALKS – EXTERIOR BUILDINGS – VOID FILL – PORCHES

Settled concrete generally creates a vertical displacement, which is a huge liability, not only for municipalities, but for residential, commercial, and property managers alike. Slabjacking concrete sidewalks with a polyurethane foam injection will lift and level the concrete, while also preventing the sidewalk from further settlement.

Benefits of Using Foam Injection:

Cures in 15 minutes
Yields 100 psi in 15 minutes
Requires small 5/8″ holes
Foam will travel, filling in all voided area, which requires fewer holes to be drilled
Interacts with the soil, stabilizing it
Very lightweight
Will not break, crack or deteriorate
Will not be affected by moisture
2-year warranty
Creates a watertight seal to solid surfaces
Will lift heavy slabs of concrete
Used in a broad range for repair

ROAD AND HIGHWAYS – INFRASTRUCTURE REPAIR – BRIDGE APPROACHES

Polyurethane foam injection is widely used with municipalities and DOT’s to lift and level concrete roadways, highways, and bridge approaches, as well as repair transverse cracking in asphalt streets, and stabilize poorly compacted soils. The foam used for such applications is very dense foam, which may have lifting capacities of approximately 6000 lbs per sq. ft, and capable of leveling loads as high as 120 tons in a surface area of less than 900 sq ft. The slab jacking performed on such projects not only may lift and level the structures, but will also underseal and stabilize the soil.

Once the foam is injected, and the repairing process is completed, vehicles can immediately drive over the area where the work has been completed.

Benefits of Using Foam Injection:

Cures in 15 minutes – which highly reduces traffic control
Yields 100 psi in 15 minutes
Requires small 5/8″ holes
Foam underseals and stabilizes soil
Very lightweight
Will not break, crack or deteriorate
Will not be affected by moisture
Creates a watertight seal to solid surfaces
Will lift heavy slabs of concrete

SOIL STABILIZATION

Lift Rite Concrete also provides the service of stabilizing soils. We use a product that we recognize as a Soil Binder. The stabilizer is low viscosity single component polyurethane, designed to bind and stabilize loose soils. When the binder is pumped into soils, it reacts gathers the loose soils, and hardens in a manner that strengthens the injected areas. Soil Binder has been used to stabilize concrete floors, foundations, and helical anchors.

Results:

The results of pumping it into soils are a function of saturation, soil type, compaction, and moisture. Test results vary from 700 psi up to 3,000 psi.

Unique Advantages:

Single Component
Contains no TDI
Cure time 2 hours (pending on the moisture within ground)
Very low Viscosity

WAREHOUSE FLOOR REPAIR – JOINT STABILIZATION – VOID FILLING – SUB SURFACE VOID FILLING

When soil is not properly compacted, experiences erosion, or heavy machinery weaken the subgrade, voids appear underneath the concrete surfaces. Unfortunately, many times, these voids are often unforeseen and cause further damage to the surfaces. If indications provide that such problems exist, foam injection is a great alternative in filling in the voids, creating strong support to the existing surfaces.

Polyurethane foams to make such repairs are lightweight, high dense foam, which reacts slower than the foams used for lifting and leveling concrete.
